Coastal Georgia Honor Flight

Project Description

Coastal Georgia Honor Flight was established in 2014 as a local hub under the non-profit national organization, Honor Flight. The goal of the Coastal Georgia Honor Flight is to help local WWII and Korean War Veterans make a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. to see the memorial built in their honor, at no charge to them. A documentary the inaugural trip was produced and distributed online and to the participants involved. The distribution and production was completed at no cost to the veterans.
